Frank Vizard is a veteran technology and science writer who previously served as technology editor of Popular Science magazine, where he covered consumer electronics, computers, automotive technology, and military technology. His byline has also appeared at ScientificAmerican.com and USA Today, among other publications. He is the author of several books, including "Made In New York: 25 Innovators Who Shaped Our World" (2023), "Why a Curveball Curves: The Incredible Science of Sports" (2008), "The 21st Century Soldier" (2002), and the novel "Screamer" (2018). Vizard is a member of the Authors Guild and received a 2020 Silver Cumbre Award for Campaign–Multicultural and Diversity from the Public Relations Society of America; he has also judged the PRSA Technology Section Journalism Awards. He currently publishes the "Resiliency Tech" technology newsletter on Substack and has contributed travel editorial to Luxury Magazine and Departures Magazine. Based in Dobbs Ferry, New York, he is a regular contributor to Techstrong.ai and Digital CxO, where he writes on artificial intelligence and digital transformation topics for the Techstrong Group.
