About the Author: Gayathri Narayan
At ModMed, Gayathri Narayan is the General Manager of ModMed Scribe, the health-tech company's clinical AI solution. Gayathri helps oversee the vision and development of the AI training program, the data quality, and AI's integration into ModMed's flagship product, EMA, a cloud-based specialty-specific EHR. In this role, Gayathri is responsible for managing the business strategy and commercialization of its AI clinical products which are distinctly unique in the market; AI models are trained from ModMed's nearly 15-year history of de-identified patient interactions. Before this role, Gayathri was the General Manager for the ENT and Allergy specialty business, which grew from $2.8M to $15M in 3 years under her leadership. Prior to ModMed, Gayathri was with Thomson Reuters where she successfully developed and commercialized 6 products. Gayathri has worked across three continents and has extensive experience in business, operations, strategy, product management, finance and compliance. Gayathri is a Certified Accountant from India and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
