Shirshanka Das, the co-founder and CTO of DataHub and the original architect of the problem he is now solving for the world’s most progressive and AI-first companies - context management. He spent a decade as the overall Big Data architect at LinkedIn, where he built the metadata systems underpinning one of the world's most data-intensive companies. He founded the DataHub project at LinkedIn to solve GDPR compliance at hyperscale, born from a real regulatory crisis, not a lab experiment. DataHub is now the #1 open-source AI data catalog in the world, trusted by thousands of organizations and proven to scale to more than 10 million data assets in production. Customers include Apple, Netflix, JP Morgan Chase, Optum, Figma, Canva, Block, Warner Bros. Games, and T. Rowe Price, among many others. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UCLA.
