Jaime Hampton

Jaime Hampton is a technology journalist and editor covering artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, big data, scientific computing, AI infrastructure, quantum computing, and enterprise technology. She spent more than four years at Tabor Communications, progressing from Associate Editor to Staff Writer to Managing Editor, and most recently served as Managing Editor of AIwire and Contributing Editor at HPCwire through May 2026. Since then, she has worked as an independent freelance journalist and editor, reporting on and editing coverage across the same core beats: AI, high-performance computing, scientific computing, AI infrastructure, quantum computing, and enterprise technology. Hampton holds a B.A. in Art History, Criticism and Conservation from New College of Florida and previously worked as a curatorial intern at The Ringling museum in Sarasota. She is based in St. Petersburg, Florida.
