About the Author: Ron Baker
Ron is the Chief Technology Officer at Trustwise, an AI Security company providing the trust layer for agentic AI. He brings his expertise in enterprise software scale, reliability, security, and usability to securing and controlling AI system behavior at runtime. Prior to Trustwise, he was a Distinguished Engineer at IBM as part of their Sustainability Software organization, where he led products managing Assets, Building Facilities, Supply Chains, Weather, and Environmental Intelligence. At IBM, Ron spearheaded Environmental Insights Strategy and directed SRE operations for SaaS offerings. He previously served as the Director of Geospatial Content and Analytics at The Weather Company, managing one of the world’s largest IoT platforms. Ron holds over a dozen software patents and serves as Texas State Ambassador for Common Sense American, a non-partisan organization providing policy guidance to Congress.
