A new partnership between Seekr Technologies, an AI-powered search engine, and LiveOne, an award-winning music, entertainment and technology platform, holds the promise of sparking a creative revolution in the music industry, by giving artists the ability to tap into vast catalogs of beats and sounds.
The partnership will deliver to music creators later this year the industry’s first AI-powered search platform for beats and sounds. It promises to do for music creators what the MP3 player did the general population, giving them access to limitless catalogs of beats and sounds.
“The Seekr platform’s AI search engine, combined with our extensive collection of beats and sounds, creates a limitless potential for artists and creators to align and create music, and recurring revenue streams,” said Mr. Robert Ellin, LiveOne CEO.
The feeling was obviously mutual with his counterpart at Seekr, Mr. Pat Condo. “We are thrilled to work with LiveOne on this exciting venture,” said Mr. Condo, Seekr’s Founder & CEO. “Their content catalog and knowledge in this market is unmatched and through the application of our generative AI, we’re collaborating on a novel offering for creators seeking to build innovative and efficient music solutions.”
LiveOne, Inc. is an award-winning, creator first, music, entertainment and technology platform delivering premium experiences and content worldwide.
Seekr is “a privately-held artificial intelligence company that specializes in transparent content evaluation and objective ratings. Its AI technology is designed to rate all content, both authentic content created by humans, and synthetic, machine-generated content. The centerpiece of Seekr’s technology is an independent search engine that is powered by proprietary AI and employs natural language processing (NLP) to generate a Seekr Score and Political Lean Indicator.”
Earlier this year, Seekr entered into a partnership with Intel, a global leader in computing innovation, development and production. The companies announced on April 16, 2024, a “multi-year strategic collaboration to deliver the next generation of trustworthy large language models and foundation models.” The partnership allows LiveOne’s search and discovery platform to run on the Intel Developer Cloud.
According to Seekr, “the subscription-based platform will be available for creators by the end of the year to aid in music creation and licensing with innovative technology. The offering will unlock new revenue streams for artists and creators in a multi-billion-dollar market, solidifying LiveOne’s commitment to innovation and artist support. Thanks to Seekr’s multi-year collaboration with Intel, LiveOne’s search and discovery platform will run on the Intel Developer Cloud.”
“I think the combination of Seekr’s software and Seekr’s domain expertise, combined with the capabilities of Intel Developer Cloud, is a very powerful combination and can unleash a lot of value for our customers and partners,” said Mr. Markus Flierl, the Corporate Vice President, Intel Developer Cloud. “Obviously this is just the beginning of our journey. As we continue the collaboration and you start developing a foundation model, I think you’re going to create a lot more accuracy. I think you can fine tune it much more towards different use cases.”
The partnership between LiveOne and Seekr is not their first. On March 10, 2023, LiveOne announced that PodcastOne, a subsidiary of LiveOne, had reached an agreement with Seekr. For PodcastOne, a leading podcast platform, the partnership ensured “brand suitability for its advertising partners.”
“Brands want security in knowing that their investment is being made with reliable, honest, truthful programming that aligns with their core values and intended audiences,” said Kit Gray, President of PodcastOne. “With Seekr’s AI technology, we now offer media buyers an additional third-party option of trust that does not currently exist in the audio advertising marketplace. As we continue to be at the forefront of emerging technology within the audio space, aligning with Seekr puts us ahead of the pack for advertising clients who want the content reliability and for consumers who want trusted, honest content which allows PodcastOne to remain a trusted network in audio for advertisers.”
