Wrike has introduced a suite of artificial intelligence (AI)-powered features and enterprise platform enhancements in a move to compete more aggressively in the crowded work management software market.
The new offerings center on automation and integration, allowing teams to streamline workflows from initial brainstorming through project completion. The company announced Agent Builder, a no-code interface that lets users create custom AI agents using natural language commands, making advanced automation accessible to employees without technical expertise.
“Enterprises don’t just need another tool — they need an intelligent platform that adapts to how they actually work,” Wrike CEO Thomas Scott said in a statement. “Wrike is not just about managing tasks; it’s about rewiring how work gets done.”
The platform will launch with three pre-built AI agents designed to deliver immediate value: A Triage Agent for categorizing and prioritizing tasks, a Risk Agent for identifying potential project issues, and an Intake Agent for managing requests and forms. Users can also design custom agents tailored to their specific workflows.
James Ball, head of global delivery at Jellyfish, said the AI agents function “like adding another team member,” noting his company has automated intake processes across departments and is saving hours weekly.
Wrike also introduced Wrike Whiteboard, a visual collaboration tool built on technology from Klaxoon, which Wrike acquired earlier this year. The digital workspace lets teams brainstorm on an infinite canvas, generate workshop templates through AI prompts, and embed live dashboard widgets that connect creative ideation with project execution.
For enterprise customers, the company unfurled two scaling tools: A Solution & Template Center for sharing pre-built templates across Wrike’s user community, and Federated Space Configuration, which enables administrators to distribute standardized workflows organization-wide.
