Workday Inc., on Tuesday, announced an entry point for artificial intelligence (AI) agents that will let customers seamlessly connect and manage AI agents from Workday and its developer partners.
The company’s Agent Gateway is designed to connect third-party agents to the Workday Agent System of Record (ASOR) to enable seamless agent registration and agent-to-agent collaboration.
The Silicon Valley company also announced a global ecosystem of partners to build AI agents that connect with ASOR. They include Amazon Web Services (AWS), Auditoria.AI, Deloitte, IBM Corp., Kainos, Paradox and Workboard.
“For nearly two decades, Workday has helped organizations manage their people and their money on a unified, secure platform,” Matthew Brandt, senior vice president of global partners at Workday, said in a statement. “Now, as AI agents increasingly collaborate with human workforces, customers are looking to Workday to manage everything — people, money and agents — together on one platform they can trust. That’s why we’re partnering with leading technology organizations to ensure they can do so seamlessly while maintaining enterprise control.”
Additionally, Workday is expanding Developer Copilot, the conversational AI companion that helps developers code faster across Workday Extend. New capabilities include the ability to generate app code snippets and data queries, as well as generate and document orchestrations. Workday is also introducing a new command-line interface (CLI) tool called Workday Developer CLI.
