Intuit Inc. on Tuesday announced a major upgrade to its all-in-one platform, including the debut of Intuit Intelligence, which offers businesses and accounting firms artificial intelligence (AI) tools.
Tools include the launch of Intuit Accountant Suite, a new AI-native solution for accountants; new AI agents that transform how businesses run and grow; and enhancements to Intuit Enterprise Suite, the company’s modern ERP solution for mid-market businesses.
“We are leading the largest technology disruption in our history that will fundamentally change how businesses compete and grow,” Intuit CEO Sasan Goodarzi said in a statement. “We’re creating the future, leveraging the power of data, AI and human intelligence to give all businesses on the Intuit platform a distinct advantage to thrive in this new era.”
The announcements represent Intuit’s broader push to embed AI throughout its product ecosystem, betting that automation and intelligent assistance will become essential tools for businesses managing increasingly complex financial operations.
Intuit Intelligence lets business owners ask questions in natural language — from sales conversion strategies to profitability projections — and receive instant, data-backed recommendations. Users can also automate tasks with simple prompts like “Run my payroll,” while the system generates insights by ingesting data from Intuit products, third-party systems and spreadsheets.
The centerpiece of the platform is a suite of AI agents that Intuit claims can save businesses up to 12 hours monthly. New additions include a Sales Tax Agent that ensures compliance and identifies potential issues before filing, and a Payroll Agent that collects employee hours, detects anomalies, and delivers ready-to-approve payroll drafts via text.
Enhanced agents include an improved Accounting Agent with expanded anomaly detection and automated transaction categorization, plus a Project Management Agent that converts signed contracts into projects and provides deeper profitability insights.
For larger operations, Intuit Enterprise Suite targets the mid-market ERP space with what the company positions as a faster, more affordable alternative to legacy systems. The solution features multi-entity management, AI-driven Chart of Accounts standardization, and consolidated control centers. Industry-specific editions are coming soon, starting with construction.
Accounting firms get their own dedicated platform through Intuit Accountant Suite, which unifies client management, collaboration and service delivery in one dashboard. The system answers firm-specific queries like identifying the most profitable client and will soon integrate web conferencing and AI note-taking tools.
Intuit began rolling out its new Accountant Suite on Tuesday through QuickBooks and Intuit Enterprise Suite.
